Here at Executive Honda, we’ve noticed that more drivers have been looking for green cars lately. The Honda brand won’t leave drivers like that out in the cold. We already offer some green cars, like a hybrid version of the 2018 Honda Accord, and many other green models are in the works. One interesting one is the Honda Clarity, a vehicle that offers multiple green power options. One powered by hydrogen just arrived on the market.

The 2018 Honda Clarity is available as a plug-in hybrid, an electric model, or a hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicle. The fuel cell model can be refilled with hydrogen fuel in just a few minutes. One of the big problems facing green cars is “range anxiety,” which is when drivers worry that an electric car won’t be able to get them to their destination without a stop to recharge. That’s not a problem in the Honda Clarity.

This model has a power output of 174 horsepower and comes equipped with many of the features you’ve come to expect from a Honda car. You’ll find standard Honda Sensing® safety features, including Adaptive Cruise Control and a Road Departure Mitigation System. Tech like Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ are also a part of the package. The Honda Clarity fuel cell model is only available in California for now, but we look forward to seeing if it comes to other markets. How it’s received could also have a big effect on the green Honda cars of the future.
